What are the advantages of using drawers for storing items?
Drawers provide easy access in one motion. Pull open the drawer, and the contents are all visible. With full-extension drawer guides the entire drawer box pulls out from the cabinet; nothing is hidden. Dura Supreme offers several different drawer base configurations including 2, 3, 4, and 5 drawer stacks – even a seven-drawer unit in our vanity cabinetry product line. Depending on the configuration, a drawer base cabinet can be up to 48” wide.
Drawers are easy to customize with all sorts of storage solutions. In a shallow drawer you can add cutlery dividers, chop blocks, knife holders, fixed partitions, adjustable partitions, or even a spice drawer insert.
Deep drawers can be used for dish storage by adding a plate rack insert or dish storage system.
Deep drawers are also an excellent place for pots and pans; keep the lids organized and out of the way with lid storage partitions or a shallow roll out above the drawer. Fixed or adjustable partitions are also available for deep drawers.
